Debt Rescue And Recovery

What Bomakuu Does Not Promise

Bomakuu recognizes that not every debt can be cancelled, every property saved or every financial situation reversed.
The program therefore does not promise:
1. Automatic cancellation of debts
2. Guaranteed prevention of auctions or repossessions
3. Guaranteed recovery of property
4. Guaranteed financial assistance
5. Guaranteed employment or business funding
6. Guaranteed housing
7. Guaranteed settlement with creditors
Instead, Bomakuu seeks to provide assessment, guidance, referrals, education, support, mentorship and practical pathways toward restoration, subject to eligibility, available resources, professional advice and applicable law.

What Bomakuu Promises

WE CANNOT ALWAYS SAVE THE PROPERTY

BUT WE CAN REFUSE TO ABANDON THE PERSON

WE CANNOT CHANGE WHAT HAS ALREADY HAPPENED

BUT TOGETHER, WE CAN HELP BUILD WHAT COMES NEXT

A LOST HOME DOES NOT HAVE TO BECOME A LOST LIFE

A LOST BUSINESS DOES NOT HAVE TO BECOME A LOST FUTURE

From Financial Distress to Restoration, Recovery and a New Beginning Bomakuu–Nguvu Pamoja Transformative Charitable Trust believes that behind every debt, auction notice, repossession or threatened loss of property is a human being, a family, a livelihood and often years of hard work. Our Debt Rescue and Recovery Program exists to provide a compassionate, structured and practical pathway for individuals, families, farmers, entrepreneurs and businesses experiencing serious financial distress. We do not simply focus on the debt or the asset at risk. We focus on the person, the family, the livelihood and the future. Financial distress can quickly become a cycle of debt, loss, emotional pressure, family instability and declining livelihoods. Bomakuu seeks to intervene as early as possible by helping people:
1. Understand their financial and debt position
2.
Assess available options and risks
3. Develop realistic recovery strategies
4.
Access appropriate professional and financial guidance
5. Rebuild sustainable livelihoods
6. Address the emotional and family impact of financial distress
7. Connect with relevant Bomakuu programs and support networks
8. Develop a practical pathway toward long-term financial stability
Where property or assets are at risk, the program may also facilitate appropriate referrals and professional engagement aimed at exploring lawful and realistic solutions.
The objective is not to make unrealistic promises. It is to create a pathway forward.

DIGNITY • RESPECT • CONFIDENTIALITY • COMPASSION • FAIRNESS
We recognize that every financial situation is different. Therefore, each case must be assessed on its own circumstances, eligibility, available resources and the legal and practical options that may exist.

We believe
1. Every person deserves to be heard without unnecessary judgment

2.
Early intervention can prevent deeper financial distress

3. Financial recovery requires both immediate action and long-term planning

4. Losing an asset does not mean losing a person's future

5. People deserve opportunities for second chances and new beginnings

6. Sustainable recovery must address both financial and livelihood challenges

What The Program Offers

Depending on individual circumstances and available resources, Bomakuu may provide, coordinate, or facilitate access to:
1. Debt Assessment and Recovery Guidance
Helping participants understand their financial position, outstanding obligations, risks, and possible recovery options.
2. Financial Literacy and Budgeting
Building practical skills in budgeting, financial planning, responsible borrowing, savings, household or business financial management.
3. Debt Management Education
Helping participants understand debt management principles and develop realistic strategies for addressing financial obligations.
4. Recovery Planning
Supporting the development of practical recovery plans based on the participant's circumstances, resources, obligations and income potential.
5. Business Recovery and Entrepreneurship
For entrepreneurs and businesses experiencing financial distress, the program may provide mentorship, business guidance, enterprise development support and appropriate referrals.
6. Livelihood and Employment Support
Connecting participants, where possible, with legitimate employment, enterprise, skills-development and income-generating opportunities.
7. Emotional and Psychosocial Support
Financial distress can cause anxiety, shame, family conflict, hopelessness and emotional exhaustion. Bomakuu seeks to connect participants with qualified counsellors and appropriate professional support where required.
8. Family Restoration
Because financial distress affects entire households, the program may help families develop practical plans addressing housing, education, livelihood, family stability and future financial planning.
9. Reconciliation and Constructive Engagement
Where appropriate, voluntary and legally permissible, Bomakuu may facilitate constructive communication between affected parties and relevant stakeholders.
10. Long-Term Financial Empowerment
Recovery should not end when an immediate crisis is resolved. Participants are encouraged to build sustainable financial habits, livelihoods with resilience that reduce the risk of returning to the same cycle.
