A Productive Asset, Livelihood & Ownership Program

For many people, a motorcycle is more than a means of transport. It can be a source of daily income, a tool for business, a means of supporting a family and a stepping stone toward greater economic independence.

The BomaKuu Nduthi/Piki-Piki Program is designed around this understanding. It seeks to transform disciplined participation into access to a productive asset that can help an individual earn, save, build ownership and eventually acquire additional productive assets. The program is therefore not simply about getting a motorcycle.

It is about building a livelihood through a productive asset. FROM Kes. 30 TODAY TO A PRODUCTIVE FUTURE

Bomakuu believes that meaningful transformation can begin with small, disciplined and consistent participation. The program is built around the principle that:
Small participation + discipline + collective organization + productive assets = greater opportunity for ownership and prosperity.

Participants may participate daily, weekly or monthly in accordance with the applicable Bomakuu program structure. Bomakuu already provides for these flexible participation methods across its broader model. The specific contribution required for access to a motorcycle, welfare support, maintenance or ownership would be determined by the approved program structure and individual agreement.
